  • American Battery Technology Company Selected to Recycle Batteries from the Largest Lithium-Ion Battery Cleanup in US History, $30 Million Estimated Project Proceeds,  American Battery Technology Company, has been contracted for and approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to recycle the end-of-life lithium-ion batteries from the largest lithium-ion battery cleanup operation in EPA history.   • BASF enters long-term agreement to secure renewable energy certificates, supporting Scope 2 emissions reduction at U.S. sites, BASF has signed a 15-year agreement with BP Energy Retail Company to acquire Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). These certificates are linked to approximately 47 megawatts (MW) of annual capacity from Swift Current Energy’s Castle Gap Wind project in Central Texas. Click Here
  • Bodycote Achieves Independent Validation of Carbon Footprint Tools for Heat Treatment Processes, Bodycote has achieved independent validation by Bureau Veritas for its proprietary product carbon footprint (PCF) calculators across nine core processes representing approximately 80 percent of Group revenues.   • Cyclic Materials to Expand U.S. Rare Earth Recycling Footprint with New South Carolina Campus, Cyclic Materials, the advanced recycling company creating a resilient and secure circular supply chain for rare earth elements (REEs) and other critical materials, announced it is investing more than USD $82M to establish a rare earth recycling campus in McBee, South Carolina.   • Honda and Princeton NuEnergy Sign MOU to Advance Collaboration in Next-Generation Battery Recycling Technologies, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. and Princeton NuEnergy Inc. announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to advance discussion on collaboration around next-generation lithium-ion battery recycling technologies. The agreement reflects the companies’ shared intention to strengthen the circular battery materials supply chain and U.S energy independence through innovative recycling and rejuvenation pathways.   • Honda Supports U.S. Farmers in Adopting Regenerative Agriculture for Healthier Soil, Air and Water, Honda announced that it has joined Carbon by Indigo, a leading program to help farmers across the U.S. adopt regenerative agriculture practices to improve soil health, capture carbon and increase their profitability. As part of its broader commitment to decarbonization, Honda is purchasing soil carbon removal credits through Carbon by Indigo, resulting in the removal of 1,800 metric tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.   • Hydro signs new USD 1,600 million and USD 800 million sustainability-linked revolving credit facilities,  The facilities, which are available for general corporate purposes, replace Hydro’s undrawn USD 1,600 million and USD 1,000 million revolving credit facilities.   • Reactivate and WM Collaborate Nationwide to Convert Up to 50+ Landfills into Solar Energy Sites, Reactivate, an Invenergy company, and WM announced an agreement with plans to transform up to 50+ former landfill sites into community solar, small utility scale solar and storage projects.   • Lightsource bp and Toyota enter into a power contract, bringing new energy and economic development to Texas, Lightsource bp and Toyota Motor North America have finalized a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) for energy from the 231MW Jones City 2 solar farm, part of the larger Jones City Energy Center, which began construction in spring 2025.
