The Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) provides a forum for global automotive manufacturers, their large and small suppliers, the US EPA and other government entities from around the world to work together toward a shared vision of an automotive industry with positive environmental impact.
SP hosts quarterly membership meetings rotating across key automotive regions in the USA. These meetings provide an opportunity for members to connect and share environmental sustainability best practices and strategies with industry peers and government partners, learn about emerging issues impacting the environment and their business operations, and identify new opportunities for collaborative action.
SP’s quarterly meetings address a range of current and emerging on industry environmental sustainability priorities as identified by SP’s member companies. The meetings tend to include a mix of smaller-group interactive working sessions, large group plenary sessions, member site visits and tours, and networking activities.
SP’s quarterly meetings bring together a diverse group of environmental / sustainability leaders from across the US automotive industry and supply chain, including automakers, their suppliers, environmental service providers and public sector partners. SP’s membership meetings are closed meetings, with registration open to employees of active SP member companies, as well as a limited number of invited industry guests and non-profit / government representatives.
