designed to provide automobile original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers the opportunity to improve their environmental performance and competitiveness, while providing value throughout the automobile supply chain in Mexico.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Collecting and sharing information to help suppliers address energy efficiency opportunities that will improve the environment, and economic opportunities for their companies.
ZERO WASTE TO LANDFILL
Identifying wastes that the supply chain collectively wants to disappear and challenging ourselves to find better solutions and uses for materials that can provide economic value to participants.
WATER EFFICIENCY
Collecting and sharing information to help suppliers to improve their use and potential re-use of water in their manufacturing activities.
MULTI-MEDIA SITE ASSESSMENTS
AASA offers a multi-media site assessment program for AVA member companies to work collaboratively to address common environmental and sustainability challenges. The assessments are conducted by AASA members, for AASA members. The assessments have focused on identifying opportunities to reduce energy, water and waste consumption, and have been hosted by AASA members such as Bosch, DENSO, Lear, Nemak and Metalsa.
