- Autoneum Achieves Its Highest EcoVadis Sustainability Rating, Autoneum has secured the prestigious EcoVadis Gold Medal for the third consecutive year. In the 2025 assessment, Autoneum improved its EcoVadis score by 5 points to 83/100 – up from 78 in the prior year, ranking among the top 5% of companies evaluated globally. Click Here
- From Waste to Value: Recycling Automotive Shredder Residue and Bio-Waste into High-Value Feedstock, A new research study by ETH Zurich, in collaboration with BASF SE, has investigated an alternative route for mixed plastic waste streams from end-of-life vehicles: to recycle it alongside biomass. The results show: the recycling of one kg of automotive shredder residues with 3 kg of biomass reduces greenhouse gas emissions by more than 3 kg CO2-eq. as compared to their incineration for energy recovery. - Clarios Secures Strategic Fleet Contract with Ruan, Clarios announced a partnership with Ruan Transportation Management Systems (Ruan), a transportation and logistics company headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa. The agreement marks a significant milestone for Clarios Connected Services, with Ruan set to deploy Clarios’ IdleLess™ solution in its fleet to reduce fuel consumption, avoid battery related downtime events, and support its long-term sustainability strategy. - Cyclic Materials and VACUUMSCHMELZE Expand Partnership to Recycle Rare Earth Magnet Manufacturing Waste in the U.S., Cyclic Materials announced an extension of its partnership with VACUUMSCHMELZE (VAC). The companies have signed a 10-year exclusive agreement for recycling 100 percent of the magnet production by-products (i.e. swarf) that will be produced at VAC’s new manufacturing facility in Sumter, South Carolina scheduled to begin operations at the end of 2025. - Foresight and SCS Global Services Forge Strategic Alliance to Provide Audit Support for SCS Recycled Content Certification, Foresight has entered into a strategic agreement with SCS Global Services to assist manufacturers seeking SCS Recycled Content Certification for their products. - Hydro and University of Michigan launch USD 2.5 million research partnership, Hydro has launched its first U.S. university research partnership with the University of Michigan, committing USD 2.5 million over five years to advance aluminium recycling and extrusion alloy development. The collaboration establishes the CREATe (Center for Recycling, Extrusion and Aluminum Technology) partnership and aims to strengthen the U.S. supply chain through innovation. Click Here

- Sustainability in Bloom: Toyota of Bristol Team Plants 9 Million-Seed EmblemAmerican Battery Technology, Toyota of Bristol in Tennessee has transformed an unused plot of land behind the dealership into a wildflower garden designed in the shape of the Toyota emblem. Over the course of several months, team members planted about 9 million seeds – primarily zinnias and marigolds – creating a space that enriches the local ecosystem. Click Here
