Global Product Chemical Compliance Process Management Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ)
The purpose of this document is to support companies in conducting a self-assessment to determine how closely existing management practices and procedures correspond to quality improvement guidelines for the reporting of vehicle assembly, component, material, and substance content vertically within the automotive supply base. This in turn can serve as the starting point of a gap analysis to identify management tools or system elements that might usefully be implemented in the organization to help improve overall performance.
Through continuous improvement, this Questionnaire may support the needs of Product Chemical Compliance Process Management improvements and as a due diligence tool toward global regulation compliance.
This guidance document was produced through a collaborative process by the SP Global Product Chemical Compliance Process Management Work Group, whose members include automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC, Stellantis, and Toyota Motor North America.
The Questionnaire is designed to complement the SP Guidance Document: Global Product Chemical Compliance Process Management published in June 2022.
