Streamlined Automotive Carbon Reporting Questionnaire
As companies in the automotive industry proactively work toward long-term goals of achieving carbon neutrality, it is often expected that suppliers take an active role in striving to reduce emissions from their businesses as far as possible.
This document is intended to provide a streamlined survey template for voluntary use by companies in the automotive industry seeking to 1) request primary emissions data from their own suppliers, 2) evaluate their suppliers’ carbon reduction progress against company-specific targets, and/or 3) identify suppliers’ carbon reduction and reporting maturity to assess the need for further training and support.
Note: the use of this questionnaire format is voluntary by OEM/Tier 1 and individual question selection is voluntary and data is not shared. This streamlined questionnaire format is intended to support smaller and/or earlier stage suppliers that are not currently reporting energy / carbon data to efficiently and effectively respond to industry reporting requests.
