SP News March 2010

On March 3, SAE held a “Green Engineering and Technology Transfer Workshop” which featured several SP members as speakers, including: Pat Beattie, Arcalis Scientific; John Bradburn, GM; Dave O’Ryan, Asset Recovery; Tom Murray, EPA; and, Andy Hobbs, Ford. The workshop examined existing “green” centers that might serve as models for a Michigan Green Innovation & Technology Transfer Center and explored several areas that could be the focus of a green center for the automotive industry. SP’s Executive Director, Steve Hellem attended the workshop on behalf of SP.
