SP 2nd Quarter Meeting on April 28, 2010 Hosted by VMX International and RTI Laboratories

On April 28, 2010, SP held its 2nd Quarter Membership Meeting at the General Motors Knowledge Center in Warren, MI. Special thanks to Vickie Lewis, VMX International, Jerry Singh, RTI Laboratories and Robin Richey, GM for their efforts in organizing and hosting this meeting.

The meeting opened with a presentation from Fred Hoffman, Special Advisory to the Governor for Economic Development and Special Projects, on Governor Granholm’s Economic Development Activities. The meeting also included updates from SP’s Work Groups and presentations from SP member companies VMX International, RTI Laboratories, Green Tree Products & Technologies and the State Government of Victoria (Australia).

In addition, General Motors presented its 5th annual Environmental Excellence Award to Gage Products, a founding member of SP. Gage was recognized for its work with GM to recycle and reuse purge solvent and the company’s commitment to help “green” the automotive supply chain.
