SP 1st Quarter Meeting – January 11, 2012
On January 11, the Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) held its 1st Quarter Membership Meeting at the GM Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan. Over 85 representatives from the automotive supply chain participated in the meeting which was sponsored by FTS Technologies.
SP was very pleased to have several distinguished guest speakers participate in the meeting, including Jay Williams, Executive Director, Office of Recovery for Auto Communities and Workers; Matt Bogoshian, Senior Policy Counsel, Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); and, Mike Lynch, Managing Director, Green Innovation, NASCAR. In addition, the meeting featured reports on the sustatinability activities of SP member companies such as General Motors and Goodyear, as well as updates on SP’s Work Group activities.
