Goodwill and EQ Host SP 4th Quarter Meeting – November 8, 2011
On November 8, the Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) held its 4th Quarter Membership Meeting in Detroit, Michigan which was co-hosted by Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit and EQ – the Environmental Quality Company. Over 60 representatives from the automotive supply chain participated in the meeting. Special thanks to Kathy Laird and Consandra Allen of Goodwill, and Kelly McInnis, Jeff Roberts, Bob Doyle and Amy Jo Haratyk of EQ for their assistance in coordinating and hosting the meeting.
Guest speakers at the meeting included Stephen Zimmer, Executive Director, USCAR; Mike Coast, President, Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC) and Ben Vickery, NIST / EPA. The meeting included a presentation by Greg Rose, Chrysler’s Director of Corporate Sustainability & Environmental Affairs, on Chrysler Group’s Corporate Sustainability Report; reports on each of SP’s Work Group activities and a tour of the automotive work center of Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit.
