Save the Date: SP’s Q4 2018 Meeting
SP’s 4th Quarter Meeting will be held on October 23-24, 2018 and will be hosted by Johnson Controls at the Johnson Controls Pro Football Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio. Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village is an $899 million “smart city” mixed-use development of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s campus, under way in Canton, Ohio. The meeting will include a guided tour of the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village showcasing innovative products, services and connected technology solutions for making cities smarter, safer and more sustainable in a real-world setting.
The Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) is an innovative collaboration between automakers (FCA, Ford, GM, Honda, Toyota) and their suppliers, and the US EPA. SP provides a forum for global automotive manufacturers, their large and small suppliers, the US EPA and other government entities from around the world to work together to improve the environmental sustainability and business value of the global automotive supply chain. In addition to SP’s Q4 membership meeting on October 24, a meeting of SP’s EHS Forum will also be held at TestAmerica’s North Canton Laboratory on the afternoon of October 23. The EHS meeting is designed to provide an interactive forum for discussion of EHS-related challenges and opportunities, and this meeting will focus on methods for engaging suppliers in sustainability goals.
In addition, the first two SP meetings of 2019 have been scheduled for:
- Q1 2019: January 29-30, 2019, hosted at Honda North America in Marysville, OH
- Q2 2019: April 23-24, 2019, hosted at Heritage Group’s Collaboration Center in Indianapolis, IN
