2026 SP Member Meeting Schedule
SP hosts regular membership meetings rotating across key automotive regions in the USA. These meetings provide an opportunity for members to connect and share environmental sustainability best practices and strategies with industry peers and government partners, learn about emerging issues impacting the environment and their business operations, and identify new opportunities for collaborative action.
SP’s membership meetings are closed meetings, with registration open to employees of active SP member companies, as well as a limited number of invited industry guests and non-profit / government representatives. Learn more about our 2026 schedule of quarterly events below.
SP’s Q1 2026 Membership Meeting will be held at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy, Michigan on January 21 – 22, 2026.
On January 21, optional member-driven workshops will be held on topics such as nature and water stewardship, carbon and energy management, battery circularity, sustainable packaging, and logistics.
On January 22, the Q1 Membership meeting will include guest speaker and member presentations on emerging sustainability trends and opportunities, including topics such as: building the business case for community impact, science-based targets, EU sustainability regulation updates, energy efficiency in manufacturing, waste minimization, trends in green steel, and working group updates.
SP’s Q2 Membership Meeting will be held on April 28 – 29 in Nashville, Tennessee.
On April 28, SP will collaborate with Living Lands & Waters to host an optional community cleanup volunteer event in an area of Old Hickory Lake near Nashville. Later that same evening, SP will host a member networking reception in downtown Nashville. On April 29, Bridgestone Americas will host our Q2 membership meeting at Bridgestone Tower in the heart of downtown Nashville.
The 2026 SP Innovation Summit will be held on July 28 – 29 in Detroit, Michigan, with special thanks to our presenting sponsor Magna.
The annual Summit will spotlight innovation and emerging trends tied to key industry priorities, including carbon neutrality, circular and sustainable materials, EV battery lifecycle management, and nature and water stewardship. Learn more here.
Our Q4 Membership Meeting will be hosted by Envita Solutions on October 27 – 28 at The Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
