ISO’s Net Zero Standard: Special SP update

We’re excited to welcome representatives from the International Standards Organization (ISO) and the British Standards Institution (BSI) for a SP member briefing on the status and roadmap for the ISO Net Zero Standard and its broader implications.

Shana Gallagher, BSI’s Net Zero Engagement Manager, will speak about the ongoing process of converting the ISO Net Zero Guidelines into an independently verifiable Standard, the principles and recommendations of comprehensive net zero strategy development for organizations reflected within the Guidelines, and how the standard interacts with other initiatives and frameworks currently informing the net zero transition.

Chris Rizzi, representing General Motors, will speak about GM’s experience using the ISO Net Zero Guidelines to enhance their organization’s net zero strategy.

We’ll also have dedicated time for member discussion and Q&A with a transportation industry expert from BSI, Nick Fleming.
