Net Impact x General Motors Materiality Assessment Guidebook
Over the course of the semester, a team of undergraduate students for the University of Michigan collaborated with General Motors to compile research for the development of a Materiality Assessment Guidebook. The information gathered for this guidebook was intended to be distributed to suppliers to support their implementation of materiality assessments. Through interviews, research, and team collaboration, the Net Impact team developed a set of recommendations as outlined in this guidebook.
This guidebook was provided to SP to support facilitation of a supplier workshop on conducting a materiality assessment. Special thanks to University of Michigan students Grace Sheaffer and Juliette Beals for their work on this guidebook and to General Motors for allowing the information to be shared with suppliers through the SP network.
