- AISIN Recognized on the A List of CDP’s Climate Change Category for Two Consecutive Years, AISIN CORPORATION has been recognized as an “A List” company, which is the highest rating in the climate change category of CDP, an international environmental NGO for two consecutive years. Click Here
- BASF Coatings implements 100% renewable electricity at key sites in North America, BASF’s Coatings division has successfully transitioned to 100% renewable electricity at its North American sites in Greenville, Ohio, and Blackman Township in Jackson County, Michigan, effective January 2025. The switch to renewable electricity will bring a significant reduction of more than 11,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually, benefiting, benefiting both BASF Coatings’ operations and customers. - Blue Whale Materials Announces Strategic Partnership with Call2Recycle to Advance Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling in North America, Blue Whale Materials announced a strategic partnership with Call2Recycle. As a result of the partnership, Blue Whale Materials’ state-of-the-art sorting and recycling facility in Bartlesville, OK. will receive and process batteries brought into Call2Recycle’s national network, which collects spent batteries across the United States. - Honda Selected as a CDP “Climate Change A List” Company for Second Consecutive Year, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced that the company has been selected for the CDP’s “2024 Climate Change A List” for the second consecutive year. The CDP is an international non-profit organization that facilitates environmental information disclosure, and Honda was selected based on its initiatives in the areas of climate change and environmental transparency. - What’s the Buzz? Toyota Indiana Volunteers Plant a Pollinator Garden, Suspending the assembly of a new vehicle, as was the case last summer with the 2024 Lexus TX, is never a good thing. But team members at Toyota Indiana, which assembles the new three-row luxury SUV, recently found a way to turn that negative into a bit of a positive. It all started when two team members — Production Team Member Jeremiah Tooley and Production Team Leader Jonathan Reimann — approached Environmental Engineer Manager Paul Delor and his team about the feasibility of converting 2,000 square feet of grass on Toyota Indiana’s grounds into a pollinator garden.
