SP 3rd Quarter Meeting on August 11, 2010 Hosted by Johnson Controls
| On August 11, 2010, SP held its 3rd Quarter Membership Meeting at the Johnson Controls Holland Technology Center in Holland, MI. Special thanks to Randy Leslie, Fran Elenbaas and Robin You, Johnson Controlsfor their efforts in organizing and hosting this meeting.
The meeting opened with a presentation from Jennifer Johnson and James Bos, JCI on one of the company’s environmental sustainability initiatives. The meeting also featured guest presentations from: Brad Cumming,Environment Canada, on “Canada’s Chemicals Management Plan and its Impact on the Automotive Sector”; and, John Mizroch, Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, on “Government Funding Opportunities for Sustainable Technology Development & Manufacturing”. In addition, the meeting included updates from SP’s Chemical Issues, Energy, Materials Efficiency and Technology & Networking Work Groups, as well as a roundtable on current and emerging issues in the automotive industry.
