Save the Date: SP’s Q3 2018 Meeting in Montreal
SP’s 3rd Quarter Meeting will be held on July 17-18, 2018 and will be hosted by ERA Environmental Management Solutions at their offices in the Montreal Tecnoparc .
The Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) is an innovative collaboration between automakers (FCA, Ford, GM, Honda, Toyota) and their suppliers, and the US EPA. SP provides a forum for global automotive manufacturers, their large and small suppliers, the US EPA and other government entities from around the world to work together to improve the environmental sustainability and business value of the global automotive supply chain. SP’s Q3 meeting will be held on July 18, 2018 and will be hosted by ERA Environmental Management Solutions at their offices in the Montreal Tecnoparc at 7200 Frederick Banting, St-Laurent, Quebec, Canada H4S 2A1.
The Q3 membership meeting is planned to include updates on SP member programs and collaborative work group initiatives related to topics such as biodiversity, chemical process management and materials efficiency with presentations from SP member companies such as ERA, General Motors, Honda, Lavergne Group, Toyota, Waste Management and others.
The meeting will also include presentations on sustainability trends in the auto industry, North American voluntary partnership initiatives and supply chain energy management with guest speakers from organizations such as 3M Canada, Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC), Mexico’s National Commission for the Efficient Use of Energy (CONUEE), Natural Resources Canada, SP’s Alianza Verde Automotriz (AVA), Woodbridge Foam Corporation, US Department of Energy (DOE) and others.
A meeting of SP’s EHS Forum will also be held on July 17, the day prior to the membership meeting. The EHS meeting is designed to provide a smaller group, interactive forum for discussion of EHS-related challenges and opportunities. In addition, ERA will host a reception for SP attendees at the Molson Coors Brewery on the evening of July 17.
