Board of
Directors Elects Executive Committee for Automotive Industry Suppliers
Partnership for the Environment (SP) for 2005
Washington,
DC – The Board of Directors of the automotive industry’s Suppliers Partnership
for the Environment (SP) have announced their 2005 Executive Committee. The members of the Executive Committee are
elected by the SP Board of Directors and manage the day-to-day operations of
the organization of 29 companies. SP is comprised of two
automotive manufacturers and their suppliers, together with the US
Environmental Protection Agency.
“SP
is very pleased to announce the Executive Committee that will lead the
organization next year,” said Rebecca Spearot, Director, Environmental
Management, Lear Corporation and SP’s 2004 Chair. The Chair of SP’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors for
2005 is Randal Leslie, Vice President and General Manager, ASG Office, Johnson
Controls, Inc. Serving as Vice Chair is
Roger Strelow, Associate General Counsel and Director, Environment, Health and
Safety, Federal-Mogul Corporation.

Mr.
Leslie, SP’s new Chair said, “I am honored and very pleased to serve as SP’s
Chair for 2005. SP continues to address the
goals of the membership by creating, on a shared basis among automotive manufacturers
and their suppliers, new and innovative business-centered approaches to environmental
protection that improve the environment while providing value throughout the
automobile supply chain.”
