SP Q3 Virtual Meeting Update
After consideration and review of current guidance related to large gatherings in Michigan, SP has made the decision to hold our Q3 Membership Meeting as a virtual event on July 13 – 16.
The theme of the Q3 meeting is “Aspiring To An Automotive Industry with Positive Environmental Impact” and the meeting will include SP member panels and presentations examining the auto industry’s long-term environmental sustainability goals, example of how companies of all sizes are responding and contributing to industry goals, and the role of public private collaboration going forward.
The meeting will include speakers from SP member companies and collaborators such as FCA, Ford, GM, Honda, Toyota, Battery Solutions, Bosch, Clarios, Denso, ECOCLEAN, FTS Technologies, GHD, Global Battery Alliance, Global Battery Solutions, Hytch, Lear Corp, Manufacture 2030, Nadler Strategy, TerraCycle, US EPA, VMX International, Waste Management, Wildlife Habitat Council, World Wildlife Fund, and, others.
All Q3 meeting content will be hosted in a virtual event platform designed to provide opportunities for members to connect and interact online before, during and after the scheduled meeting sessions. In addition to our general Q3 meeting sessions on July 15-16, we will be holding several interactive pre-meetings related to SP work group efforts, including SP Emerging Professionals work group and Responsible Battery work group meetings on July 13, and SP Technology & Innovation Forum and SP EHS Forum discussions on July 14. We are also making plans for a virtual environmental sustainability poster session during the meeting.
