Save the Date: SP Q2 2022 Membership Meeting

SP’s 2nd Quarter Membership Meeting will be held as an in-person event on April 14, 2022 at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama, in collaboration with the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA).

The Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) provides a forum for global automotive manufacturers, their large and small suppliers, the US EPA and other government entities from around the world to work together toward a shared vision of an automotive industry with positive environmental impact.

SP’s quarterly membership meetings provide an opportunity for members to share environmental sustainability best practices and strategies with industry peers and partners, learn about emerging issues impacting the environment and business operations, and identify opportunities for collaborative action.

This quarterly meeting is being co-hosted by the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA), an organization dedicated to furthering the Automotive Manufacturing Industry in Alabama and supporting its members in their growth and participation as an important part of that industry.

The event will feature speakers from Honda, Mazda Toyota, Toyota Motor, Ascend Elements, Clean Earth, Li-Cycle, the Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition, the University of Alabama, Wildlife Habitat Council, and others.

Additional agenda details and registration information for the April 14 event will be provided directly to representatives of active SP and AAMA member companies. Space for this event is limited and registration is expected to sell out.

In addition to the Q2 conference a small group workshop on nature-based solutions is also planned to be held in Alabama on the afternoon of April 13 in collaboration with SP’s partners at the Wildlife Habitat Council.  Additional virtual-only workshop and seminar opportunities will also be offered to SP members in Q2 for those not able to attend the in-person events.

Please contact us if you’d like to learn more about SP and opportunities to participate as a member.
