Due to concerns related to the coronavirus, SP has made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person SP Q2 events that were scheduled to take place on April 21-22. SP members will have the opportunity to participate in a series of virtual meetings, in place of the planned in-person events. SP’s next quarterly meeting is scheduled for July 15-16 at Lear Corp. in Southfield, Michigan.
SP’s 2nd Quarter Meeting of 2020 will be hosted by Ford Motor Company on April 21-22 in Dearborn, Michigan.
The Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) provides a forum for global automakers and their large and small suppliers to work together to improve the environmental sustainability and business value of the global automotive supply chain.
SP ‘s quarterly meetings provide an opportunity for participants to share environmental sustainability best practices and strategies with their industry peers, learn about emerging issues impacting the environment and their business operations, and to identify opportunities for collaborative action through SP.
The Q2 meeting will feature presentations from SP members on their environmental sustainability programs and strategies, along with guest speaker presentations on emerging environmental sustainability issues impacting the automotive industry.
Meetings of member-led SP work groups will also be held in connection with the Q2 meeting, including SP’s EV Battery Recycling Work Group, EHS Forum and Emerging Professionals Work Group.
