Save the Date for SP’s Q1 2020 Meeting in Alabama

SP’s 1st Quarter Meeting of 2020 will be hosted by the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA) on January 30 at the Honda AIDT Training Center in Lincoln, Alabama.

The Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) provides a forum for global automakers and their large and small suppliers to work together to improve the environmental sustainability and business value of the global automotive supply chain. SP ‘s quarterly meetings provide an opportunity for participants to share environmental sustainability best practices and strategies with their industry peers, learn about emerging issues impacting the environment and their business operations, and to identify opportunities for collaborative action through SP.

The January 30 meeting will feature presentations from SP members on their environmental sustainability programs and strategies, along with guest speaker presentations on emerging environmental sustainability issues impacting the automotive industry. The meeting will also include updates on member-led SP work group initiatives addressing shared environmental sustainability issues, from SP member representatives such as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, General Motors, Honda, Toyota, Lear, Waste Management and others. SP working groups will also hold pre-meetings at Honda on January 29 – including SP’s Responsible Battery Work Group, EHS Forum and Emerging Professionals Work Group.
