FCA Mexico hosts Spring Meeting of Alianza Verde Automotriz (AVA)
On May 25, FCA Mexico hosted the Spring meeting of SP’s Alianza Verde Automotriz (AVA) initiative at FCA’s offices located in Santa Fe, Mexico City. A special thanks to Delia Rivas and the FCA team for their support in hosting the meeting.
During the meeting, Noe Villegas of CONUEE shared information with AVA members on Mexico’s National Program for Energy Management Systems (PRONASGEn) as well as a new Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC) program focused on the implementation of ISO 50001 along the supply chain in North America. AVA members also had the opportunity to learn more about Mexico’s Energy Reform and the basic supply rates from guest speaker Cynthia Bouchot of Energia CB.
The meeting also included presentations from AVA member companies Bocar Group, Ecolimpio and Edison Energy on best practices related to water efficiency, waste management and renewable energy procurement, as well as updates on recent initiatives of the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC) and activities of SP in the United States.
AVA’s next membership meeting will be held in the Mexico City area in November 2018. Please contact AVA’s Program Manager Don Harris if you’d like to learn more about AVA membership and participation in future events.
