Technical Assistance Guidelines
Requirements
to Access SP Technical Assistance:
If you are an
automotive supplier and would like to access a SP workshop for your facility:
Company steps are outlined in GREEN.
NOTE: Step
1 may occur at any time up to Step 4.
Step 1. Supplier must be a SP Member
Step 2. Supplier contacts MMTC - Mike Coast (mcoast@mmtc.org), to identify appropriate MEP center (anywhere in US)
Step 4. MEP center will send SP workshop contract with confidentiality
agreement, including SP membership application to supplier
Step 5. Local MEP center will contact supplier to schedule workshop
within XX days, after contract is signed and membership of SP is confirmed
Step 6. Conduct workshop
Step 7. Confidential facility report is sent to MMTC for aggregation
Step 8. MMTC sends aggregate data to SP Board Members quarterly.
If
you are a member of SP and would like to access a SP workshop for your supplier(s):
Company
steps are outlined in GREEN.
Step 1. Company identifies appropriate sub-tiers supplier(s) for workshop
Step 2. Company sends letter (provided by SP) to identified
suppliers, encouraging participation. Letter will include: benefits of SP workshop,
SP membership information and contact information for MMTC / Mike Coast.
Step 3. Company sends list
of approved sub-tier suppliers with contact information to MMTC
Step 4. MMTC and Company
will work together to encourage supplier to participate.
Step 5. MMTC will organize
and arrange with local MEP centers to contact suppliers
Step
6. MMTC
center will send SP workshop contract with confidentiality agreement, including
SP membership application.
Step 7. Local MEP center
will contact supplier to schedule workshop within XX days after contract is
signed and SP membership confirmed. Company will be contacted regarding supplier
workshop confirmation.
Step 9. Facility report is sent to MMTC for aggregation
Step 10. MMTC sends aggregate data to SP Board Members quarterly
NOTE: EPA has authorized NIST MEP and the MMTC to provide $2,500
workshop funding assistance to any small and mid-size SP members as authorized
(Group IV, V and VI). MMTC has authority
to extend funding assistance on behalf of EPA.
